Good to know
- .txt becomes a clean PDF file you download directly (Letter size, monospace, wrapped lines). Only basic Latin text is supported. If your file uses other scripts or emoji, open it in an editor and print to PDF there.
- .docx is converted to a readable layout that keeps headings, lists, bold/italic, tables, images, links and page breaks. Then your browser's Save as PDF print option creates the file. It is not a pixel-perfect copy of Word. Fonts, columns, headers/footers, text boxes, footnote placement, comments and tracked changes may be lost or simplified. We list anything the converter skipped. For exact layout, use Word's or LibreOffice's own "Export as PDF".
- .doc (old Word 97-2003) isn't supported. Open it in Word or LibreOffice and save it as .docx first.
- Document content is sanitized before preview, so scripts or links hidden in a file can't run. No analytics or third-party scripts touch your file. The libraries (mammoth, jsPDF, DOMPurify) are served from this site.
